He also has a Ministerial background with extensive expertise in grief counseling, earning his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Lexington Theological Seminary in Kentucky. David is also the Sexton of the Boerne Cemetery and sells Cemetery Property, Grave Markers, and Monuments. Even on weekends the cemetery records are available to aid in locating a grave. Vaughan's Funeral Home personally conducts funerals and burials anywhere in Texas.

Lindabeth is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She is also a beautician/barber, and specializes in cosmetology and restorative art. " I believe women have a special place in the funeral business, especially caring for the ladies, but it is David who knows exactly what to say or do for a family suffering the loss of a loved one. We work together perfectly as a team"
