friend,acq of family
My sincere heartfelt condolences to the entire Strait family.
I will always remember Buddy's easy smile, and the way he teased his brother. It was a joy to watch Buddy at the Team Ropings, I always looked forward to seeing him, and I will miss him.
May the family find strength and peace knowing that Buddy is in God's care. God bless you all.

My deepest condolences go out to the entire Strait Family on the loss of Buddy Strait. I only met him once when the ropings were held in Kingsville, Tx. He seemed like a very nice man. He accomplished so much with his then TASCO business and co-founding The GSTRC. However, his best legacy are his children and grandchildren.
Rest In Peace.
To the entire Strait family. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God give you comfort.
In Christian Love,
Friend of family
My deepest sympathy to the Strait family. I was very saddened and hurt when I heard of the passing of Buddy Strait. He was always real nice to me since I was a kid. I remember when Buddy and his family lived down my street and I was real good friends with all of his kids, Trey who I went to school with and Kara, and Walker, who I spend some time with over the years. I'm really sorry for your loss. He was a really good man who treated everyone, all the same. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Lonnie Charles
I know how you feel. I just lost my sister in Sept. of 08. She was like a mom to me. she took care of me when my mom and dad where at work. She was 11 years older then me. you can never replace what you had with your brother. all the best.
Dear Strait Family

"Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die..."
